September morning in Nouvion

Artwork inspired by history of polish 1st Armoured Division and my fav tv series Allo Allo, done for 81st WWII anniversary.
Allo Allo is set in small french town Nouvion, which lies very close to Abbeville - city, where allies in 1939 decided that they wont/can't help Poland fight nazi invasion. Fun fact is that Abbeville was actually liberated in first days of september 1944 by units from 1st Polish Armoured Division. So yeah, basically if Allo Allo was "real" general Stanisław Maczek probably would drink some tea in Cafe Rene, getting intel from SAS agent Michelle Dubois, during misty september morning in Nouvion.
Most of the modeling done in Blender. Churchill AVRE tank was "biggest" asset, textured with Substance Painter. I'm not sure if poles used any of those, couldn't findy any reference photos (usually they used Cromwells and Shermans), but I read that some sapper units were part of 1st Armoured Division. Anyway - AVRE "Wileńczyk" is a fictional vehicle in non fictional unit. Some smaller assets come from various sites like archibaseplanet or cg trader, some from quixel megascans and poliigon.
Making characters was the toughest part since I've never done before any humans, the're quite "potato"-like, but I really wanted to have them in this scene.
